Ignite Talk

Reading is an experience that includes both setting and feelings. We cannot determine feelings, not even our own. But we can make choices that affect our feelings, and that is our goal today. We want to show you how reading can evolve from an individual experience to a shared experience.

Discover and take part in a magical do-nothing-day through the senses of a child. Taste the hot chocolate, feel the smooth stones and wet mushrooms, and listen to the sounds of nature.

We want to awaken the book and give the audience the opportunity to see how stories can be brought to life.

We are three colleagues from Dokk1 (Aarhus, Denmark) who work in department for Family and Children.

We are passionate about sensory-saturated communication, location-specific reading, and the entire literary experience. We are interested in reading situations where you can taste the history, smell the literature, and create a feeling of being there yourself: We look forward to taking you on the journey.
