- FUTURE OF EUROPE IN PUBLIC LIBRARIES
Ignite Talk
Join us to learn more about how Public Libraries 2030 joined with libraries in Ghent, Lisbon, and Aarhus to engage with EU policy, focusing on three topics: digital transition, democracy and sustainability.
In 2023 we are hosting three camps. The first camp in Ghent focused on digital transition. At our current meeting in Aarhus, we are working on sustainability. In October, we will meet in Lisbon to talk about democracy. As part of these meetings, participants will work on establishing the scope of the library sector in each policy field, identifying best practices, and building a common language to use in their activities for library users and for advocacy. In this session, we will present what we have learned so far!
