Session
How can peer learning and kombucha build a sustainable future?
Dokk1 and P2PU are working together on “Læringsfællesskaber for en bæredygtig fremtid” (Learning circles for a sustainable future), a project designed to connect hands-on, creative learning workshops in the library with the United Nation Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
In this session, you’ll make kombucha in an abridged version of one of this project’s most popular learning circles so far.
Following this will be a discussion on how library staff around the world can facilitate collaborative experiences, build collective knowledge, and improve our own footprints on the world.
Maximum capacity: 30 people
Hosts
Grif Peterson & Astrid Richter
Grif Peterson serves as Executive Director of Peer 2 Peer University. He joined P2PU in 2015 to start the learning circle project with Chicago Public Library, which has now spread to hundreds of libraries across the world. He lives in Phoenix, Arizona, and this is his fourth Next Library event.
Astrid Richter is a librarian and teacher at Dokk1. Besides being a new member of the Next Library crew, she has been facilitating learning circles at Dokk1 and is involved in various learning activities at Aarhus libraries.
