- Climate Things: Library Community Action
Session
This workshop looks at library- and culture-based climate action: What’s happening and how your community can participate.
Participants build skills and know-how to understand climate action in the context of the global and local needs, information science and activism, and ethics and traditions of librarianship.
Participants learn how to overcome the five most frequent obstacles that libraries face when getting involved in climate action and how to be a part of the global initiatives that are redefining library practice: “Many hands make light work!”
Be inspired and get the tools to work with your community toward a local and global climate initiative.
