Data Privacy Policy
According to the General Data Protection Regulation, we must inform you about a number of details in our processing of your information and your rights.
Next Library is the data controller in processing your personal data.
We process the following personal data: name and email address. The data is needed to create an account on the web site.
Our processing of personal data is made on the basis of:
- Article 6(1)(a) – the data subject has given consent to the processing of his or her personal data for one or more specific purposes
The information is processed and stored securely at our suppliers.
The information which we process about you will be deleted if your account has been inactive for 3 years.
The consent you have given can be withdrawn at any time, but without changing the legality of the processing that may already have been carried out.
You have a right to request access to the information that we have about you. You also have a right to request rectification or deletion of information, and you may also request restriction of the processing of the information. However, you should be aware that the we as part of Aarhus Municipality, Denmark, are obliged to keep the information we have about you until the above mentioned deadline for deletion has been met.
In 2018, the Next Library Satellite Conference was hosted by Zentral- und Landesbibliothek Berlin (ZLB) and the Kulturstiftung des Bundes in cooperation with the Kulturprojekte Berlin GmbH.
