Ignite Talk
Play Bunk is a fun-filled after-school program that takes place at two of Book Bunk’s project libraries in Nairobi, Kenya. This program is designed to engage library users of all ages in playful activities that promote learning and creativity. With a variety of interactive games such as LEGO, Chess, Ludo, Kenya at 50, and more, children and adults alike are invited to join in on the fun. Play Bunk is part of a series of library programs that Book Bunk offers, including Music Bunk, Dance Bunk, Art Bunk and others. These programs all share a common goal of providing arts education, promoting creativity while teaching valuable life skills. Each program showcases a different aspect of the arts, and together they offer a holistic approach to learning and self-expression.

Marianne Wamuyu is a Literature and Political Science graduate, the Programmes and Events Manager at the Book Bunk Trust, and the proud mother of two little girls. She is dedicated to creating memorable event experiences in order to create a better environment for future generations.
